Furthermore, when you leave parked your car, always close all the windows entirely to prevent that they use it to get into the car, never leave anything inside the car that can be desired by a thief, like laptops, clothes or toys. If you want to get out the car and is just for a second, close the car and do whatever you need and come back, but never leave the car open and running, is not safe at all. If you have a garage it will be a good idea to use it, even if you feel lazy, go ahead and do it, it might be the difference.

Moreover, don’t leave anything inside the car that could be used against you, like the title or the registration. There are also other inexpensive features that you can buy for your car, like Gearshift locks, Hood locks, Tire/Wheel locks, Ignition kill switch, Fuel kill switch etc, and all this to protect your investment from being taken away from you.
