Driving in Winter SeasonSo you live in a country where is cold a part of the year, but not only cold you also have snow and everything, it would be good if take some time to read this information, since one of the causes of death in winter time when it comes to vehicles is that it gets very slippery and we don’t take that so serious. These are advices to prepare your car for winter and to make sure that you are going to be driving as safety as possible. You need to start with the most important part of the vehicle, and those are the breaks, in order for you to have a car ready, the brakes are number one, not only in winter time but all the time. Next remember that your windshield is also a part of the car that you should be taken into consideration, since that what let you see the road, so no windshield no road, always check your defroster too, you can add an antifreeze to keep it away from colder temperatures. Always carry a flashlight, food, blankets and everything that you can use if you have to make a stop due to the weather, check your tires and never forget to have a spare one, just in case. Take your time while driving, especially in this time when is so slippery and you shouldn’t be speeding, is not a bad idea to carry a spare key to avoid further problem in the case that you lock yourself out. Be a little more observant and pay attention to details, this is very helpful because you might not be able to see everything on the road and the cars could be out of your reach, so if you see anything that might be curious , take a look, like flashing lights, etc. If you have to stay in the car for any reason try to keep yourself warm at all times, but also be careful with the fumes.
